A new generation of Long-Term-Implants

Thanks to the new developed DermaLive, designed to fill up wrinkles, since it is safer, even more practical and cheaper. DermaLive is an implant that is injected to fill up wrinkles and other skin depressions. What are its peculiarities? Particularly that their components come from no animal source, therefore a much smaller allergy risk is involved the effect of DermaLive lasts several years and not, as usual, only months. And finally, not to forget the security in the application of DermaLive thanks to the best possible carrier substance, hyaluronic acid.
Where is it applied?
DermaLive is recommended to fill up deep wrinkles, for example the nasolabial wrinkle, wrinkles of the mouth angle, worry lines, as well as to improve the lip contour.
The treatment: two or three times… and ready
Who has not dreamt of an implant lasting years without having to be injected every three to six months? That is the most important advantage of DermaLive, since it certainly lasts for several years and has proven to resist the passing of time… Every injection contains approximately 40% acrylhydrogel-particles that permanently remain inside the skin. The hyaluronic acid is degraded after a few weeks, while the particles position themselves harmonically inside the skin without any risk of removal of the acrylhydrogel-particles. Once positioned, in the first months after the injection, a new endogenous collagen layer is generated around the particles, so that the injected area is perfectly refilled. In some cases, two or three sessions are necessary to optimally fill up the wrinkles. Although DermaLive remains permanently inside the skin, it cannot prevent the aging process. That is why, after maybe some years, one or more sessions might become necessary to maintain the treatment’s success.
Perfect application thanks to hyaluronic acid
After the injection into the skin, DermaLive builds up a volume on the desired spot. These acrylhydrogel-particles have to be placed as precisely as possible. This is best achieved with hyaluronic acid as carrier substance. It offers endless advantages: simple and reliable injection, homogeneous and harmonic distribution of the particles under the skin…. so that the skin becomes smoother and tighter...
Optimal tolerance
DermaLive is composed of soft acrylhydrogel-particles as well as hyaluronic acid of non- animal origin. The acrylhydrogel included in DermaLive had already been used in more than 150.000 cases as intraocular implant without causing any eye damage – and that considering that the eyes are one of the most delicate organs. This already tells everything about the excellent compatibility of this material ... Why this excellent compatibility? Very simple: Thanks to the high percentage of water (26%), that, by the way, led to the name „hydrogel“, the particles are particularly soft, elastic and resistant, they can gently enter the tissue and, while contracting the facial muscles, they adapt themselves to all the movements of the skin. Every gesture is permitted!
Can unwelcome effects occur?
In a few cases, after the injections, there can be painless reddenings and swelling that in general disappear after some hours or days. In exceptional cases after the injection, there can be a local inflammation reaction which becomes apparent through a hardening or reddening and swelling of the injection spot. In these cases, you should contact your physician, who will take the necessary treatment steps.
Are any precautions necessary after the injection?
During the first hours after the injection, you should not put any make-up on. Avoid sauna, steam baths or exposure to extreme cold for the first 14 days. If you go sunbathing, on the first 10 days you should apply a sun cream with a high protection factor on the injection spot.
