A simple look into the mirror makes a lot of people unhappy. This is due to those annoying little fat deposits in the so-called “problem areas.” They cannot be reduced by means of exercise or diets. The only way to get rid of them is through liposuction.

Length of surgery: 2 – 4 hours, depending on the body area
Type of anesthesia: General anesthesia, local anesthesia or twilight sedation
Hospital stay: Not necessary / outpatient
After surgery: Intense recovery period of two weeks, sports and strenuous physical activities after 6 weeks

Fat distribution in our bodies is a matter of genetics. Even if you eat a balanced diet and exercise a lot, it is often not enough to achieve an ideal figure. During the course of life, many people may begin to feel like they have exhausted all their options. Fat deposits on chin, neck, stomach, hips, buttocks, thighs and calves tend to ignore any exhausting physical activity and cannot be magically eliminated by eating light-products and taking diet pills.

The methods once used for aspirating the fat deposits were complicated and not completely harmless. Besides, the results did not always satisfy the patients from the cosmetic point of view.

Many people are dissatisfied with their body. Stubborn fat deposits, especially in the well-known problem areas, are often unresponsive to diet and exercise. For these patients, liposuction offers the only remaining hope.

A new liposuction technique by Body Jet will solve the problem.

What is Aquashaping?

The water-jet assisted liposuction (WAL) is an innovative gentle procedure. An extremely thin cannula with an irrigation fluid is introduced with pulsating sprays into the fat tissue. The solution is then immediately suctioned out of the body, together with the loosened fat cells. The simultaneous irrigation and aspiration of the fan-shaped water spray makes a softening up of the area no longer necessary. The result is immediately visible, reducing the need for later corrective action.

One of the major advantages over traditional liposuction is that the fat cells are dislodged with significantly less force and thus with a considerably reduced risk of side effects. Furthermore, this method is not so drug-intensive and the incisions do not ooze for days. Compared to previous procedures, the application time of the irrigation fluid is reduced to a minimum, resulting in shorter surgery times.

Advantages of the Body Jet Procedure

The danger of dent formations that could not be completely eliminated with mechanical procedures or the danger of the so-called fat embolism is significantly reduced due to the new gentle method.

There is no risk of thermal damage, such as burn injuries. Due to the application of the water jet, subcutaneous hematoma and injuries are much less common.

This means that very likely you will be free of pain a few days after this procedure.

There is no longer any need to suffer for the sake of beauty.

Fat cells that are eliminated will not form again. The reason is that all fat cells are already created at babyhood, and putting on weight simply means the already existing fat cells get bigger. This means that the treatment for the corresponding area is only necessary once in a lifetime.

knees / calves
double chin

What to expect

The innovative Body Jet technology offers major advantages by allowing the simultaneous irrigation and aspiration of fat cells. The advantages of water-jet assisted liposuction at a glance:

  • The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis.
  • Minimized tissue trauma
  • Reduction of pain, swelling and hematoma
  • Requires smaller amount of painkillers
  • Optimized and immediately visible results
  • Shorter surgery times
  • Reduced in-patient stay
  • No destruction of tissue, no bloating
  • No oozing wounds

There are various methods of liposuction. Which method is used, depends on the individual case.

What is laser-assisted liposuction?

The development of a highly successful new technology has made it possible to “melt away” unwanted fat pockets. With this laser method, which is also less time-consuming, it is not only possible to dissolve fat but to achieve a tightening effect at the same time. The laser procedure is less painful than conventional liposuction methods and provides optimal harmonious results.

The technology:

The procedure uses the combination of two different wavelengths to “melt away” the fat tissue and to effectively stimulate the production of collagen. The result: a tightened area of treatment stripped of any fat deposits. In many cases, the tightening effect of the laser makes the later lifting of abdomen, upper arm or upper thigh no longer necessary.

When compared to traditional liposuction techniques, the laser-assisted method is able to remove larger volumes of fat. Post-operative risks, such as hematoma and pain, are reduced to a minimum by the use of finest cannulas (1.5 mm).

Treatment areas:

  • Knees
  • Arms
  • Upper thighs (“saddle bags”, inner thighs)
  • Abdomen
  • Hips, waist
  • Back
  • Mons pubis

The surgical procedure:

The surgery may be performed under either twilight or general anesthesia. Laser beams are used to liquefy the fat cells, which are then suctioned out of the area. Typical problem areas with stubborn fat (thighs, hips, abdomen, back, upper arms, knees, chin) can be permanently stripped of their annoying little pockets of fat.

Advantages of laser-assisted liposuction at a glance:

  • Minimal punctures
  • Significantly reduced hematoma
  • Less downtime after the procedure
  • Painless due to the use of finest cannulas
  • Harmonious results
  • Skin tightening effect

What is vibration-assisted liposuction?

Power-assisted liposuction is one of the most advanced technologies in the field of plastic surgery. This technology combines the procedure of traditional liposuction with that of vibration liposuction. With this type of liposuction, the suction cannula is moved axially in a fast vibrational mode. This serves in combination with the suction vacuum to microscopically and gently cut and remove fat tissue.

During the liposuction procedure, extremely thin cannulas coated with fabric produce vibrations and allow for a more precise and gentler removal of fat than the traditional method. Thanks to this precise body contouring, it is possible to achieve optimal homogeneous results.

This not only reduces post-operative risks, such as bruising, to a minimum but also allows a faster recovery.

Treatment areas:

  • Knees
  • Arms
  • Upper thighs (“saddle bags”, inner thighs)
  • Abdomen
  • Hips, waist
  • Back
  • Mons pubis

The procedure:

The surgery may be performed under either twilight or general anesthesia. Typical problem areas with stubborn fat (thighs, hips, abdomen, back, upper arms, knees, chin) can be permanently stripped of their annoying little pockets of fat and simultaneously sculpted.

Advantages of vibration-assisted liposuction at a glance:

  • Gentle and homogeneous liposuction
  • Time-saving: up to 30 % more aspirated fat volume than with the traditional method in the same period of time
  • Less force required for moving the cannula, resulting in a higher level of precision
  • Less downtime after the procedure
  • Painless due to the use of finest cannulas
